Hey there! I'm Nathan—a filmmaker, journalist, and self-proclaimed whimsy enthusiast. Over the past six years, I've made over 175 films on topics ranging from an Ohio special election to the state of love on a university campus. From my self-created outlet Sparkpass to college and national newspapers, my films have been viewed over 60 million times and helped garner over 600k followers (and over 100,000 comments!) on TikTok and YouTube. Founded in an appreciation for human complexity, my work seeks to bridge gaps of knowledge and challenge people to think more critically.

I am a 5x first-place Associated Collegiate Press award winner, 3x first-place Columbia Scholastic Press Association award winner, 2x first-place California College Media Association award winner, and 3x Broadcast Education Association Award of Excellence winner. My film "Dream of Clean Water" won 2nd Prize and Fan Favorite awards in the 2022 C-SPAN StudentCam Documentary Competition, and was an official selection in the 2022 Chagrin Documentary Film Festival.

Most recently, I was a video producer at Morning Brew, a national business news publication.

When I'm not making films, I study public policy at Stanford University, where I'm currently a junior.
